… is a non-profit facility directed by a concerned, active Board of 12 volunteer men and women from the local community.
Its daily operation is managed by a very competent, professional administrator and staff. State-licensed, the Residence is partially funded by the United Way of Stephens County.
In addition to room and meals DCR offers opportunities for each resident to develop towards their utmost potential; opportunities for socializing, recreating and learning to live in the least restrictive situation possible.
DCR can provide quality assisted living arrangements for the chronically mentally ill. Since 1975, DCR has been providing room, meals and supportive services to consumers of the Department of Mental Health and Substance Abuse Services through the cooperative assistance of the Duncan Mental Health Clinic, a satellite of the Jim Taliaferro Community Mental Health Center in Lawton.
